The second edition of Ana Arabia exhibition was definitely one of the highlights of Riyadh Season 2021 putting the spotlight on fashion, artisanat and beauty for seven days. Held at Riyadh Front the number of participants exceeded 270 exhibitors, including 111 Saudi designers and brands, 32 Gulf designers and brands, 69 Egyptian designers and retailers, and 45 designers and retailers from 17 other countries.
Among the leading names that showcased their latest collection was Egyptian jewelry designer Azza Fahmy, Lebanese couturier Hussein Bazaza, Saudi jewelry brands Nuun and Yataghan and Emirati e-commerce platform Ounass. Lebanese emerging fashion designer Roni Helou, the Jordanian collective designer pavilion, Saudi kaftan maker Moja Majka, Lebanese jeweler L’Atelier Nawbar, Egyptian handbag brand Okthein, Kuwaiti fashion designer Heba Alenezi and the Socialista Pavillion that presented a collective of Egyptian and Lebanese designers and retailers, were also among the brands that drew quite a crowd.
The exhibition subtitled “The Dream that Never Ends ” and set up within a stunning decor spanning over 16,00 sq.m., was created to celebrate the talent and creativity of female designers from all over the Arab world, and was formally opened on December 9th by H.E. Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and chairman of Riyadh Season .
The event was of course not short of famous faces, including Lebanese super star Nancy Ajram, Egyptian actress Mai Omar and Saudi’s first social media icon Alanoud Badr aka Fozaza, And if the shopping experience was not enough guests enjoyed a daily roaster of masterclasses including by renowned Lebanese beauty expert Bassam Fattouh and Saudi influencer Lulu AlBedaiwi. Guests were also able to enjoy delicious food and refreshments in the various restaurants and cafes such as the Michelin star Chez Bruno within the premises. The luxurious VIP lounge offered delicious sweets by Square Chocolates while such VIP shopping services as free-hand shopping and gift wrapping completed the shopping experience.
A great success Ana Arabia is sure to be back with much anticipation in 2022.
