Themed “Glided Glamour” the 2022 Met Gala, fashion’s biggest night, had the stars turn out in fabulous gowns and jewels this Monday in New York. This edition the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute benefit gala celebrated the opening of the “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” exhibition.
Kim Kardashian stole the show as she took the red carpet in the epic skin tight dress Marilyn Monroe wore when she sang Happy Birthday for President JFK back in 1962, just a few months before she died. The dress that had fetched $ 48 Million when it went under the hammer in 2016, fit the world’s biggest reality TV star like a glove.
Another show-stopper was Blake Lively whose long-trained Versace Atelier gown changed from bronze to blue as she walked up the famous red carpet stairs of the Met Gala.
Kendel Jenner turned heads as she turned up in a white wedding gown complete with veil by Off-White, an apparent tribute to Virgil Abloh.
