In the spirit of Ramadan, we feature social media influencer Sarah Abdallah, better known as @dubaiprettyladies, who has used her social media power to give back to the community.
Equipped with a university degree in film making and directing, Dubai offered her the opportunities she had always longed for. Determined to accomplish her goals she started carving her path by socializing and indulging in the UAE community and people quickly started to recognize her as an influencer in both fashion and empowerment.
“I felt the responsibility to always offer new content and work harder on my contents and storytelling so I can reach more people all over the world and let me stories be a huge influence on their lives. I dealt with many brands as I was representing them in all the occasions. I am now the ambassador of two centers that care for needy children. Social media has many platforms that can help us reach what we want if it is used wisely, and my plan was and still to be one of the best life influencers on social media and this is shown in the stories and the videos or the small films I share with everyone on my page.”
Her humanitarian work is what sets her apart from many of the other social media influencers.
” I have always believed that giving is something we should always offer if we could. I have dedicated big efforts and time through helping children (autism and special needs) and these deeds made me the ambassador for two centers, the Rached Center for needy children who have special abilities in UAE and the National Autism Center in Lebanon. It makes me extremely happy, because I know that good actions can be hope for others. We are here to help anytime we can and do anything possible to make the world a better place.”
Sarah understands that fashion is an essential tool when producing new contents on social media. She produces contents related to fashion brands and mixes them with empowering story telling to make sure her words are being heard and seen.
“We are in the digital media era now and everything is related to the image. We cannot produce anything without making sure it is looking extra gorgeous. The look is very important, and it helps conveying the content faster to an audience that gets attracted by the beauty of what’s in front of him. Humanitarian causes need to be seen, to make sure that the audience are affected. I can convey better clips and videos when I look better, and I am certain that people like to see colors and fashion and good looks whenever possible.
On the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan, Sarah is photographed in a series of looks that suit all occasions.
“If I have a formal occasion, I definitely go for a classy, elegant look which fits the place and the people I will meet. If I am going for an informal look I always choose the comfy look where I can feel relaxed and untied. All my followers know that I represent Ounass, so I make sure I choose looks from their brand portfolio that suit the occasion and my personality.
