On Friday May 12th, 500 VIP guests were invited to experience the first ever fashion show inside the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Built in 1902, the museum boasts the largest collection of Egyptian Antiquities in the world.
Organized by the Egyptian Fashion & Design Council, under the auspices of The Ministry of Tourism & Anitquities, The Ministry of Planning & Economic Development and the Ministry of Agriculture & Land Reformation, models clad in looks by 62 Egyptian fashion, accessory and jewelry designers, curated by American stylist Julie Matos on theme with Egypt Fashion Week‘s title “the past, present & future” , walked the grand hall of the magnificent museum.
