When 18-year old qualifier Emma Raducanu won the US Open championships in September 2021, she not only won her maiden Grand Slam and the hearts of millions of tennis fans around the world, she also won endorsements by many luxury brands. American Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour, an avid tennis player herself, was quick to invite the young Brit, who had just made tennis history only a few months after sitting for her A-levels, to the Met Gala, the fashion event of the year. Dressed in Chanel, the fresh new face on the red carpet started a media frenzy and catapulted the teenager from Bromley, England into the high-life.
While on court she is sponsored by Nike for clothing and shoes, and by Wilson for racquets, off court she is a brand ambassador for Evian and British Airways and French luxury conglomerate LVMH was quick to sign her on as brand ambassador for Tiffany & Co and Dior.
When two weeks down her US Open win Tiffany & Co announced Emma Raducanu as their newest ambassador she joined the the likes of Tracee Ellis Ross, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Beyoncé and Jay-Z in the Tiffany family.
A month later she was appointed brand ambassador for French fashion house Dior, in a deal which was reported by the media to be worth around US$2.75 million. Through the endorsement deal, Raducanu represents Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri’s women’s wear collection, as well as the brand’s skincare and makeup products.
We for one can’t wait to see more of Emma, both shining on the court and looking fabulously in front of flashing cameras and ad campaigns!
