After successful events and pop ups in Dubai and Beirut, Italian luxury brand Roi du Lac presented their womens wear, menswear and homeware collections for the first time in Cairo. Organized by Pashion, the brand’s founder princess Antea Brugnoni Alliata and creative director Marco Kinloch were graciously graciously hosted by two of the leading ladies of Egyptian society. The couple were accompanied by their agent for the Middle East, Mrs.Ola Joumblat and their regional PR, Mrs.Halla Al Saad.
On the first day famous interior designer Mrs.Nermine Mokhtar opened her elegant home at Katameya Heights to welcome her friends including such fashion loving celebrities as Laila Elwi and Lara Scandar to meet the Italian guests and discover the beautiful collection with many pieces taking inspiration by Ancient Egypt.
On the second day popular socialite Hanan Ezz Eldin hosted the Princess and the collection at her beautiful home in Palm Hills, welcoming her friends including members of the diplomatic circle.
Before departing Cairo Princess Antea shared her experience and how to use symbols of Ancient Egypt to create a contemporary collection that appeals to the Western market with the students of Egypt’s leading fashion school, The Fashion Design Center.
